The Colorado Springs (CO) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated invites the community to attend the 2026 Black Family Wellness Expo, part of a nationwide initiative designed to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities within the Black community.

This year’s event will feature a panel of medical professionals discussing major health concerns impacting the African American community, including:
    •    Heart disease
    •    Diabetes
    •    Obesity
    •    Prostate cancer
    •    Alzheimer’s disease
    •    Prenatal and maternal health

Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session with the panelists.

Attendees will also have access to valuable on-site wellness resources, including:
    •    Blood pressure screenings
    •    Mental health wellness kits and information
    •    Voter registration assistance
    •    Insurance professionals sharing tools for managing healthcare costs
    •    Community health resources and educational materials
